Vendasta, an all-in-one martech platform and white-label marketplace for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has announced it has acquired MatchCraft. The acquisition from the ad tech platform’s previous proprietor, Advance Local, helps expand Vendasta’s digital campaign selling capabilities.

“MatchCraft and Vendasta have been longtime friends, and we’re fortunate to have them join the Vendasta team,” said Vendasta CEO Brendan King.

“This partnership will bring MatchCraft’s enterprise-level technology to all our channel partners, allowing them to have a superior technology stack previously only available to enterprise-level organizations. We know MatchCraft exceeds expectations and we hear it from many of their partners—who happen to be our partners, too.”

The joint features of the acquisition will bring new capabilities to thousands of combined users. Together, the unified solution allows SMBs to build better customer relationships, product and services awareness, and consumer loyalty.

MatchCraft’s search, display, and social media advertising solutions are used around the world by SMBs. The platform’s AdVantage solution is designed to help organizations manage multiple campaigns to drive better ad performance.

By joining Vendasta, both companies aim to strategically grow their product capabilities and market share. Vendasta’s comprehensive platform allows business organizations to properly scale their operations, enhance customer experiences, and grow their revenue with a marketplace of over 250 products.

Around the world, over 60,000 agencies, managed service providers, and media organizations, and more than 5 million local businesses use the solution to sell and market their brand with ease.

The move is Vendasta’s second in the last few months designed to expand its digital product capabilities, following its October 2021 acquisition of CalendarHero, a video meeting scheduling solution. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Having worked closely with Vendasta for many years it is evident that their drive to enable local businesses to succeed closely aligns with MatchCraft’s own values and mission,” said MatchCraft CEO Sandy Lohr.

“We have found an excellent new home in Vendasta, one that will allow us to continue our focus on innovation, integrity in the marketplace, and solutions that foster growth.”
