MERGE, a leading creative storytelling tech company, has announced it is upgrading its marketing operations capabilities with the acquisition of Perkuto. The move is designed to enable MERGE’s product development to create services that help clients along the sales funnel.

MERGE is on a mission to design a platform that blends creative elements with high-tech solutions. The acquisition of Perkuto’s marketing automation software upgrades the tech capabilities of the platform to streamline campaign results.

In 2020, the company announced a similar acquisition of Sandbox to invest in combining its creative tools with innovative technology. Earlier this year, MERGE also acquired Blue Moon Digital to upgrade its data performance marketing and enhance its marketing industry expertise.

“Getting marketing technology platforms to work in concert is a challenge for senior marketing and digital executives,” said Patrick Venetucci, chief executive officer of MERGE. “Uniting Perkuto’s Marketo expertise with MERGE’s content management system expertise elevates our ability to merge storytelling and technology such that it converts traffic to transactions for clients.”

Perkuto is no stranger to working with high-growth organizations. Its marketing operations solutions have been used by organizations like Facebook, Adobe, Sony Biotechnology, and Siemens to upgrade their marketing capabilities.

The solution works by providing users with a consultative approach to project management. Its integrations with Workato and Marketo help businesses implement best practices into their marketing strategies.

Some of MERGE’s existing customers like American Express, T-Mobile, BlueCross BlueShield, and The North Face can expect to see upgrades to their marketing automation technology as a result of the acquisition.

“We found in MERGE a genuine alignment with our Better Workplace culture and a shared vision for our clients, namely the Automation Movement,” said Alexandre Pelletier, chief executive officer and co-founder of Perkuto.

“Together, we are in a unique position to offer enterprise and fast-growing organizations the ability to leverage marketing operations platforms like Marketo and Workato to tell exceptional stories to the world.”
