The partnership enables personalized and targeted mobile advertisements designed to boost retail e-commerce sales.

Inmar Intelligence, one of the retail industry-leading data platforms, has announced its acquisition of digital mobile advertising platform Aki Technologies. The move targets increased personalization in Inmar’s retail media and first-party data capabilities.
Retail e-commerce sales are projected to grow to over $6.3 trillion by the year 2024. Last year, online commerce sales grew nearly a full trillion dollars, from $3.35 trillion in 2019 to $4.28 trillion in 2020.
“Retailers need technology to scale and meet consumers’ growing expectations, especially when it comes to relevant engagement,” said Aaron Kechley, GM Media and Data at Inmar Intelligence.
“The combination of Aki with Inmar’s ShopperSync customer data offerings, will uniquely enable retailers to more powerfully use data to create impactful, personalized consumer experiences at scale. Aki’s moments methodology helps retailers to effectively connect with consumers by identifying when consumers are most receptive to advertising and then using multi-patented personalization technology to serve up the best deals and promotions that will resonate with them at a particular moment.”
The move is designed to enhance Inmar’s ability to offer personalized retail experiences with relevant experiences, contextual advertising, and real-time measurements of performance metrics. Aki’s four personalization patents empower stronger campaign results and tailored buying experiences.
Its popular services equip brands with solutions to plan digital media campaigns, execute campaigns, and measure results. Combined with Inmar’s cloud-based retail shopper centers, users can expect advanced, targeted shopping experiences on mobile platforms.
